P.M. 2.5

The air in almost of all Japan was terribly polluted by P.M. 2.5, today. It will expect tomorrow too. The T.V. news said, Many kindergarten children couldn't play outdoors, And also each schoolchildren put on their masks. We have a big problem with air pollution. The yellow sand will be flying soon. When will we solve these problems?

Mao Asada

Mao Asada is one of the favorite to gold medalest of figure skating. Her game started from 18th Fev. in Sochi Olympic Games. Eevrybody focused on her performance around the world. It happend, that no one could image. Her smile disappeared from her face and her score was not good in the 16th. Is there any matter with her? I supposed, she felt pressure stage fright. We expected her free performance for the next day. And We were surprised again. Finally, she succeded eight jumps without no mistakes. She broke her best score. After finishing performance, She smiled with tears of happiness. We were moved by the scene and we confired that she is the No.1 skater in the world. She played the best.

Mao Asada - made me cry.... a performance that we will all remember forever!

A great ski jumper legend

A ski jumper Noriaki Kasai finally won a silver medal in the men's large hill event. He said “ I really felt how hard it is to get a medal. Although I was aiming for medal, I knew it wouldn't be easy, but I did well in both jumps. I read an article about him, according to the article he has some unhappy incident about his family. But he always has a smile on his face. And he is going to challenge the limits of his physical strength. He is really a great ski jumper legend. How wonderful he is.

Second time heavy snow

It has been snowing heavily at Kantou area this week too. And the strong wind is blowing. The transportation was jammed because of heavy snow. According to T.V. news, many people were troubled. And blizzard hit the eastern part of USA, especially New York. Some people have died due to accident on icy roads, many flights have been cancelled. I cancelled two activitis of yesterday and today. I can't do anything to stop the train.

Japan's first medals

Ayumu Hirano and Taku Hiraoka earned Japan's first medals at the Sochi winter Olympics on Tuesday. Ayumu won a silver medal and Taku won bronze on the half pipe game. The two both achieved success, they showed wonderful performance. But I'm sorry that Sara was not able to get any medal at ski jumping.I hope she will jump successfully next Olympics.

Sara Takanashi

Japan's national Olympics team have been not good shape at the Sochi Winter Olympics for now. I'm looking forward to playing their best, especially Sara Takanashi in ski jumping and Ayumu Hirano in snowboarding. They both are teenagers. Sara and Ayumu both have their game tonight. Go for it!! Do your best!!

Snow

It snowed heavily from early morning. The timetable of plane, bullet train and traffic were disrupted to heavy snow at the Kantou area. A lot of people had been troubled and many traffic accidents happened.　I had shoveling snow in that morning. It passed three days after snowed but snow still left over. I saw some many snowmans in the garden that children would have made. They were so cute.

A wonderful young female scientist

We got a wonderful news yesterday. Japanese young female scientist has discovered new method for body cell. Her name is Haruko Obokata, she is also beautiful and charming lady. It can grow into any type of cell, named STAP. This is the joint research with Harvard University. My image about “scientist“ was changed by this news.
