Nobel Prize
2014/10/08
Three Japanese-born scientists who helped brighten the world will share this year's Nobel Prize in Physics. Isamu Akasaki, Hiroshi Amano and Shuji Nakamura carried out groundbreaking research that led to the creation of blue light-emitting diodes, or LEDs. What they developed is now used in a range of electronic products. Members of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences made the announcement in Stockholm. In 1989, Akasaki and Amano used gallium Nitride crystals to develop a semiconductor that emitted blue light. Nakamura built on that achievement to create brighter blue LEDs that were capable of being used in electronic products. The members of the academy said their invention helped to contribute to saving the Earth's resources, and they say it promises a better quality of life for billions of people around the world. It's the first time in six years that Japanese scientists have won the award, and it brings the number of physics laureates from Japan to 10.

2014/09/20
I played a round of golf in Karuizawa with my goif's school menbers last week. On that day weather was cloudy, but it was golf weather. I've scored for the first time, my score was 140. I think golf is a completely different play a round and practice. I guess important Practice. Out of bounds, bunker, pond, I have experienced various. I felt golf needs more practice to get better, but I thought, I wanted to enjy golf wihtout thinking about the score. I walked in wide green and I could refresh myself. I had a good time with friends.

“dansyari”
2014/09/16
We have fine weather these days. I worked hard for washing, drying a futon and exchinge summer clothes to autumn clothes. I'm thinking about Dansyari recently. Dansyari means discard things that do't need. So I'm going to tide up and throw away old clothes which are no longer needed. I want to live simply from now.

Autumn
2014/09/10
There is a hint of autumn in the air. It's getting autumn-like weather. “HIGANBANA” have bloomed here and there in my neighborhood. A brisk wind was blowing the whole day. It's the nice feeling in the shade, but the sun was still strong today. I sweated after I walked the sunny place. As the sun set, it's brisk weather. Now is the season most refreshing all the year round.
