Kei Nshikori has lost the final at the US open. He praised the champion, Cilic, saying he played well. And he vowed to come back next year and win the title. He lost in the final, but Japanese fans proud of him. He did great job.

Disaster Preparedness Day

Today is Disaster Preparedness Day. I don't have any disaster kit. I haven't taken part in a disaster emergency evacuation drill. When I watch the news about a disaster on TV, I felt a need to prepare for a disaster. What should I do ?

Natural disaster

A large-scale landslide occurred on this early morning at Hiroshima city. This landslide disaster are really terrible. At least 36 people were dead at there and 45 people are still missing. Many houses were damaged by a huge amount of earth and sand. One of rescue team member died. It's scary really natural disaster. And then It's very hard work to do search activities missing people. They must do it by hands. Natural disasters happen when you forget about them.

The Eighth Day

I heard the singing of tsukutsukuboshi cicada while I took a walk. I think It's a little earlier than usual. Speaking of cicada, it reminds me of the drama titled “The Eighth Day“. In this story, nobody says the cause of this tragedy. I think the husband's love affair made this tragedy. He is the one who caused this tragedy.

Obon

2014/08/13

Obon is a Buddhist festival. When I was child, my parents uesed to set up the decoration a shelf at the time of the bon festival for the spirits of the dead in my hometown. My parents and my elder brothers and sisters followed the tradition good care of ancestors from old days. Since I left my hometown, I didn't do traditional culture like thing at all. When the time of the Obon comes, I remeber late parents and customs in my hometown. But there are always in my heart late parents and brothers. I will go to visit thier and ancestor's grave next time.

I became @@ years old in this August. When I was young, I didn't think that I wouldn't became such a old age. I have experienced for many things. I feel that I have different feelings from young age feeling. I will accept this fact, I think I want to have take interest in many things and heartwarming life from now on. My enjoyment are taking photo, seeing my granddaughter, stadying English, golf and I'd like to catch up in society by reading newspepar.

Mayor Taue

Nagasaki Mayor Taue made a peace declaration at the ceremony in Nagasaki's Peace Park in this noon. He urge the government to listen to the concerns of the people. His speech is very easy to understand. And what's more, it's clearly and directly, this year too. I like his speech.

“Risshyu”（立秋）.

Today is the first day of autumn by the old calendar in Japanese “Risshyu”. It is the AUTUMN in name only. It's biging to autumn from yesterday in calender year. It's called　立秋 in Japan. But It's still hot like mid summer, It continues the hottest for a while. I think the hot weather will last for two months still the end of September. We must keep our physical strength cheerfully. Take care not to get heatstroke!
