LDP SWEEPS ELECTION
2012/12/27
Japanese have made a choice that could make their future look a lot like their past.
The Liberal Democrats ruled Japan for decades. They spent the past three years in opposition. Now, voters have handed them a strong, new mandate in the election for the Lower House. The Liberal Democrats have long worked with their partners in New Komeito. The LDP won 294 seats, New Komeito, 31. Their combined total of 325 gives them a two-thirds majority in the Lower House. Members of Prime Minister Noda's Democratic Party had 230 seats heading into the vote. They held on to 57. LDP leader Shinzo Abe is set to take back the job he held from 2006 to 2007 — prime minister of Japan. His party's majority in the Lower House will allow members to push through their policies. If the Upper House rejects a bill, a vote by two-thirds of the Lower House lawmakers can override that decision.

Election of the House of Representatives
2012/12/05
Election of the House of Representatives will be held on the 16th of December. This time, There are eleven parties. It's very difficult to select one party. There are many issues in Japan now, such as economy, pension, declining birth rates and nuclear power plant and so on. From these, I'm concerning about nuclear power plant issue since from my young age. I have been aginst it, because we have experienced of atom bomb in World War II, and many people deid of atom bomb, and many people suffered from the aftereffects of the atom bomb. And, This 3.11 happened that nuclear plant accident of Fukushima prefecture. We met big threat of life and death. That's why, I support candidate who will abolish nuclear power plant.

Forward
2012/11/07
"Forward. That's where we need to go. Our economy is recovering. A decade of war is ending. A long campaign is now over. America, I believe we can build on the progress we've made, and continue to fight for new jobs, and new opportunity, and new security for the middle class. I believe we can keep the promise of our founding — the idea that if you're willing to work hard, it doesn't matter who you are, or where you come from, or what you look like, or where you love. It doesn't matter whether you're black or white, or Hispanic or Asian, or Native American, or young or old, or rich or poor, abled, disabled, gay or straight. You can make it here in America if you're willing to try."
