Senkaku Islands Issue

Currently, There is a problem about southwest islands between Japan and China. This time Japan nationalizaed these islands and China got angry on it. Many Chinese resisted against Japan and they attacked and destroyed Japanese company and shops. I think, we had better not to accept thier activities. In Chinese education, chinese children are taught that Japan is the enemy conuntry from elementary school. That's why, they have strong patriotism. Even thougt, we hope for friendship with China. Do we really have the feeling from the bottom of the heart? And I hope that China will be global country.

SaDo Island

I went to Sado from Sunday to Monday one night two days for the first time. My imege of Sado was a fishing island, but actually agricultuer is also active. The agricultuer of Sado was recently certified as Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systemes (GIAHS) and I heared that farmer don't use chemicals in order to live together with birds such as Toki and animals. I thougt, It was wonderful. Sado is famus of gold and silver mountains. Since A.C. 1200, The island became exile island, and I knew that people were mining work of those resources supported Tokugawa Bakufu. The mine is closed now. This tour was so busy, and unable to take photos enough. I think, I want to take time to take photo walk around the island next time.

The London Olympics

People across Japan were glued to their TVs dring the London Olympics. Japan had its most successful games, with 38 medals including seven golds. Now, the medalists are home, and they paraded through Tokyo's Ginza district to show their appreciation for their supporters.
The Japanese Olympic Committee organized the parade to celebrate the medal haul. Athletes brought back 38 medals, beating the record set in Athens eight years ago. Kouhei Uchimura won a gold in all-around gymnastics. Homare Sawa captured a silver in soccer. Some people say the medal rush inspired hope as the country recovers from the disaster in March of last year.
Tokyo failed in its bid to host the 2016 Summer Games. Critics cited a lack of public support. Now, the city is competing with Istanbul and Madrid for 2020. The International Olympic Committee will announce the winner next year.
Parade organizers estimate around 500,000 people gathered to welcome the athletes home.

Gareth Malone

I watched the wonderful program of BBC work. The program was musician Gareth Malone's program.
He is a conductor of a chorus, This story that a chorus is successful with his leadership. I was impressed by his wonderful leadershi, his humanity and a chorus to a success.
I am fan of him (^^)

Torasan

Japanese say “Otokohatsuraiyo”
It's set in the Shouwa period in downtown Tokyo.
Main characters are Dangoya shop's uncle husband and wife, his young sister and husband and variety characters. Taking of Torasan is a very famous actoe Mr. Kiyoshi Atsumi who is known by everyone. There are 49 works by directer Yoji Yamada for 30 years from 1969 to 1999.
The directer Yoji Yamada is an authority of a human movie. Have you ever watched the Torasan movie? The reson why, Torasan movie is popular among Japanes? I think, This movie has manwarmth and pathos. This movie has no borderline of movie and realistic Mr. Kiyoshi Atsumi and Torasan are identified. This is very popular the humanity comic movie of the wonderful performance exquiste Mr. Atsumi Kiyoshi. His humor's performance was loved by many Japanese people. Torasan has pure and freewheeling. He is always a toruble meker, He does not notice it.
When many audiences watch such a scene, We laugh and shed tears. It fits wit feeling of Japanese people. We spend every day busily, that's why we would like to live like Torasan. Finally, I think, It is difficult for you to understand Japanese humlity and pathos. I recommend you to wahch Torasan movie once. If you are able to laugh when you watch it. I will be happy to share the feeling and you should clearly come to feel that Yoji Yamada's world was to intersting.

Perfectural exhibition

There is the Saitama arts exhibition every year. This is the biggest arts exhibition in Saitama open to the public. It's held from May to June every year at the Saitama Museum of Modarn Art in June. It's called prefectural exhibition. Japanese says Kenten. There are six sections. For example, Japanese Painting, Oil Painting, Sculpture, Craft, Calligraphy and photograph. I applyed for photo section with my photo. That photo was taken on the day of chird day evnt. Flying many carps above Sagami River. A father was lifting his baby up beside the river. It was heartwarming scene for me, and I pressed the shutter with fater's ok. I was happy to take one moment of father's love. That's why, I titled Fatfer's Day. Aferward, My photo was selected in Kenten. Afterward, My photo wii be exhibited three places. The first place is ... , the second place is Saitama Museum of Modarn Art, the last is the museum where I work as a part time in Sptember.

'RING OF FIRE' ECLIPSE

An annular solar eclipse only comes around once in a lifetime, depending on where you live. So that's why people from the United States to China to Japan stopped hours ago to stare at the sky. They used telescopes, protective glasses, or pinhole cameras to see the moon pass in front of the sun and create a "ring of fire."
These are images of the eclipse sped up 260 times. It lasted from a few seconds to a few minutes, depending on where viewers were.
An annular solar eclipse occurs when the sun, moon, and Earth are in perfect alignment. The moon appears smaller than the sun. So a bright ring, or annulus, forms around the moon.
Here's the path of the eclipse across the Pacific Ocean. Millions of people around the world caught the view.
People also saw a rare phenomenon called "Baily's beads." The surface of the moon has mountains and valleys. When the sun backlit the moon, forms like sparkling "beads" dotted the ring's edge.

I was exhausted

Elder sister and her husband came to my house from Miyagi prefecture last Friday to Sunday. They are 75 years old. They said, We want to go sightseeing in Tokyo. That's why, I showed them around Tokyo. On Friday, I took them the Metropolitan Government office, We went to the observatory
of 54th froor, And then , We had lunch in the staff's daining room. The next day, We took Hato Bus. We went to Asakusa, Sky tree and Tokyo tower. The last day, We went to a Sugamo shrine, It is said that person gets well from illness, If people strok Ojisosama. We stroked it, too. After that, They returned to Miyagi prefectuer from Ueno station smiling. I was happy to spend three days with them. However I was so exhausted. I came back home, I didn't want to do anything, I went to bed immediately.
