A prize

I have been taking photo for six years. The best thing about taking photos is capturing a moment and a place in time. This time I got a prize of Saitama Asahi newspaper company. THe prize ceremony was last Saturday. I got a cup, certificate and camera bag. I felt so happy to get them. I continously visit many places to take photo. Because I really like the time when I press the shutter.

Snowy landscape

I went to Utsukushigahara in Nagano prefecture to take photos of snowy landscape one night two days. I stayed at a hotle which is on the top of a mountain with an altitude of 2034 meters. We can see the scenery of 360 degrees from the hotel. That's why I thought that I had wanted to go there. I was scared, when I went to the hotel by small bus, becouse the road was coverd with snow, very narrow and it has many curves. On that first day, It snowed, but the weather was fine in the evening and we could see many stars in the sky. Outside temperature was -20 degrees, but I went outside I took photos of stars. Next morning, I got up at 5:00am and I tryed to take photos of sunrise, but I couldn't see the sunrise. It was very cold and the tripod had frozen. After brakfast, while I was coming down the Mt, I took many photos on the way. The snow which lay on trees shone with the morning sun. It was very beautful. I had a good time.

Snow

About 5cm of snow fell from last night. I removed snow with my dustpan. Road is icy like sherbet and unable to remove. According to Tv nows, Car accidents were about 700 cases, injred parsons were over 500 in Knto area. There is no preparation around here.

One of photo's friend is octogenarian. He says to us, Recently he has a backache and can't walk for a long time. He seems to get weak. That's why I sometimes take his bag and tripod on behalf of him. I was taken to various places to take photos by him so far, and He also taught me how to take photos. He has been very kind and he has done a lot to me. I like to do small things for him in return.

Mami Kano (^O^)

I saw many street performers in Urawa. One of performers was very very intersting. She performed a like pantmaine alon. Her name is Mami Kano. Her performance was humor. She woer jersey. She performed along with a song called “Kobitoyo”that was gloomy song of Mayumi Itsuwa and wistflly, but very intersting. I really loved her performance. After I came home, I found her performance on the internet. I watched her youtube repeatedly. I became fan of her. 　

“Kizuna”

Japanese public chooses “Kizuna”as Kanji of 2011. The Japanese word “Kizuna”meaning bonds or connections between people, has been chosen as Japan's kanji of 2011.“Kizuna”emerged top of a public poll for the character that best summed up the year. For Japan, 2011 was dominated by the earthquake and tsumami in March. The disasters led to unprecedented unmbers of Japanese helping one another. After the tsumami smashed into Japan's north-east coast on 11 March, killing thousands and engulfing entire communities, people's stoicism and their determination to pull together won international praise.

This year is ending now. There was big earthqake, tsunami, besides, accident of nuclear power plant in Fukushima. Because of that, many people were survivaling and having anxiety. If I could help them, I don't know, what I shoud do for them. I jast sent some foods and floorclothes and donation to them. “Stay strong Japan”
In this year, I traveled China, U S, Korea and so on. I learnt culture of these countries, and I took many photos in many places. I like taking photos very much. I'd like to visit many places to take pictures. Finally I got a prize of“Photo contest of Nature of Saitama”I'm very glad that I continue taking photo.
