Panda

A giant panda Shin Shin gave birth for the first time in five years at Tokyo's Ueno Zoo on the June 12th.
Shin Shin 11 years old delivered the long awaited cub. The head of the the zoo said We are really happy about it. We would like to see and monitor the pandas condition, because the cub is in very early stage. We all hope the cub will grow up healthly. Actually, Shin Shin had given birth once five years ago. The first cub needed to stay in incubator and mother Shin Shin stopped taking care of the baby at that time probably becose of fatigue and died 10 days later. The news suddend us all over Japan. This time We hope the baby panda will grow up healthly.
Panda came to the Tokyo's Ueno Zoo from China in 1972 for the first time. When the Praime Minister Kakyei Tanaka had singed a diplomatic relations recovery. The pandas were gift from China as a memorial. It remained me of that scune on T.V. Untill then, We Japanese had never seen a panda, that's why it became very popular in Japan. A lot of pepole came to see tha panda at Ueno Zoo. We could only see 40 seconds after standing in a long line. I think, Panda is still the cutest animals.

photo session

I went Ginza to take photo of snapshotos for photo club's session and competition last Saturday. Ginzadori was pedestrian's on the day of the weekend many tourists were there and very crowded mainly Chinese. I took photos of some bulding and passerby on the street. Ginza's imeji has changed from gorgeous to common twown. And then I went to GinzaSix. It was opended three weeks ago, Many poele makes long line infront of the entrance's escalator. There are full of bland shope in the bulding, A lot of people were there but not many peole do shopping inside the shops were empty. We went to Japanese restrant Izakaya, We had dinner and talked a lot there and I came back home. I had a good time.
After two weeks later, There was shocking thing for me. My friend made a wrong thing. He submitted a different photo that he took a photo another day intentionally. At last his photo was selected in the contest. A staff checked his photo's deta. He found his dishonesty. The photo's day was not 25th May. I was shocked and sad by his deshonesty. (That contest's rule was only photos taken within a limited time)

March has come

March has come. It's getting warm day by day. I thought the weather good so I'd like to go out somewhere. I went to Iwatuki, Iwatuki is famous for dolls of girl's festival. There were many shops of dolls. Old dolls and new ones. I went ti Sirinkouen. There were many plum trees there and spring flowers bloomed. They the old people seemed to me to enjoy being under the plum trees. They seemed peacefuliy enjoy. And I went to TobuZoo park. I wanted to take a photo of only animals's face. I looked at animals, they were tired and dirty. All animals looked tired to me. I was disappointted so I didn't take a photo of them. I was busy last week.

comfortable weather

Recently we have really comfortable weather. The temperature is not so hight. It's around 27 degrees, the humidity in not hight and a wonderful day with soft refeshing breeze. It's good for reading books and doing houseworks. I'm growing various vegetables and flowers in my garden. I get up eary every morning and take care of planets and pull up the weeds. I can harvest some vegetables when it becomes next month. I expect big harvest but I have a lillte anxious If they don't grow well without agricultural chemical.

I should have been more vigilant

I went to my daughter's house and while I was cleaning the toilet I flushead a rag down the toilet and it dot stuck. I was panic. Although I called the building management company immediately but a plumber didn't come, he came about six hours after I had called. He took up the dust cloth in the toilet. I felt OK with thire wark. But I was shooked repair cost was so expensive. It's 35000yen.

Hot spring

I went to a hotspring in Atamai with my elder sister and my husband. Atami is hotspring town in Shizuoka prefecture. It's possible to go Atami in two hours by train. We stayed at cheep hotel. One night cost was 8000yen with two males. The meals were not bat. but the hotspring was good. I took hotspring and stone sauna. I could relax. We talked a lot and I had a good time. Next day we went to see plam blossons Atamibairin. Plum bloosomes were in full blom. Many people had come there, And then I bought some souvenirs Ajinohiraki and came back home.

Nikko

2017/02/10

I went to Nikko in Tochigi perfcutre to take a photo of winter scenes wiht photo's friends one night two days last week. It takes two hours to get Nikko by train. Nikko is about 100 km north of Tokyo. When we arrived at nikko station, Tt was snowstorm there. The temperature was minus 3 degrees. I was surprised too cold. Then we took a bus to Senjyogahara. We walked with an eisen the famous photo spot. and we took some photos of snow scens in the snowstorm. That was a monochromatic world. These photos were bad what I expected. On the next day, Weather was good and temperature had risen so that day was confortable. Snow and ice started melt gradually. I was a little happy because it was not cold. We went take a photo of yunoko and Several places. We were getting on or off the bus on the way taking some photos. And I came back home. I was exhausted but I had a nice time.

Daikan

2017/01/27

Daikan is the coldest in Japan. Daikan is on calender. A cold wave hit Japan. This cause havey snow around Japan, so it was freezing this morning. These days are really cold in winter season
